Funeral Service:
Wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, today 3rd July, 2021 attended the funeral service of Late Mrs Mary Maria G. A. Ubom, mother to Fr. Godwin Ubom at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (Aquinas), Owotuta, Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.
Her Excellency who represented her husband, Governor Udom Emmanuel at the service, delivered the condolence message on behalf of the State government.
Also in attendance were the Secretary to State Government, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, National Assembly member, Rt Hon Nsikak Ekong, and members representing Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency and Ukanafun State Constituency in AKHA, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Uko and Hon. Dr. Charity Ido, respectively.
The Hon. Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Idongesit Idongesit Etiebet, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Foreign Direct Investments, Mr. Gabriel Ukpe also registered their presence.
Fr. Godwin (Nsikak-Ubom) Asuquo, is the founder of ImaBridge Africa, a faith-based charity organisation dedicated to building “bridges of love” between dismilar constituencies, the privileged and the underprivileged.
