Re:SOUTHERN ATLANTIC POLYTECHNIC INITIATE STUDENTS INTO CULT AT AIRPORT ROAD!

The aforementioned banner headline was flashed on THE SERMON Newstabloid…a local tabloid here in Uyo the state capital published on Thursday 1st – Tuesday 6th July,2021 and known for carrying fallacious/sensational news stories with no basic journalism substance and ethics.They just meted this falsehood on the entire management, staff,students and parents of the school and those in the pipeline of registering their wards there.

“First, matriculation represents an achievement as it reassures the student of his possible acceptance in the academic world to study to become a graduate,with vital skills to developthe nation with.

The second reason matriculation evokes joy and celebration is that it is one of those ceremonies by which all freshmen (new students)are officially “initiated”into the prestigious and desirable”cult”of the educated class”.

The tabloid quoted the Rector Dr.Innih Ntah as saying during his 1st matriculation ceremony held to open up the academic year.

Now with the aforementioned quotation,does it in anyway interpret the situation such as a matriculation being described by this forsaken soul as cult recruitment.

Does it mean that Journalism has gone this watered down the drain? Someone will just sit fourth and thrash out whatever comes into his head.

The collosal damage done to the person (s) reputation, business, career, relationship and relevance does not exist in their memory.

All what matters is the trash and tantrums successfully executed to pull someone down.

It doesn’t just end at this unprofessional standard of writing/publication…The Sermon news tabloid had approached one Pastor Bassey James,Founder/Chairman Governing Council of SAPOLY to keep blabbling that tbough the cover page/banner headline is somewhat damaging that their aim was attract readership to the detriment of someone else’s venture.

Sad and just too terrific a being,I urge the management team to all in emergency sort themselves out to give a prompt apology to the school,management, student and entire staff!

You can’t in one false and damaging publication crash down a castle that was built with enormous sweat…

The publisher too needs to stay on board and focus more on the need to create good content rather than be an agent of falsehood, blackmail, character assassination, speculations,postulation and the pull him down syndrome.

He needs to henceforth use his tongue to count his broken teeth.

Enough of all this refreshed attack on a man whose contribution so far to the lofty #Dakkada ideology of the UDOM EMMANUEL administration is ❤️ heart warming!
