AKS MINISTRY OF EDUCATION CELEBRATES FIRST CLASS UNIUYO GRADUATE OF LAW, IKANNA OKIM ,AS SHE PLEDGES TO FLY AKWA IBOM FLAG IN LAW SCHOOL
In recognition of her academic excellence and outstanding performance as first-ever First Class graduate of Law, University of Uyo, Management of the Ministry of Education has celebrated Miss Ikanna Okim for the giant feat.
In a brief reception in her honor at the Ministry’s headquarters in Uyo, the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet lauded the First Class law graduate for not only distinguishing herself in her educational pursuit but breaking the jinx in the thirty years history of the law faculty of the University.
Mrs Etiebet said State Government is proud of her laudable achievement and urged her to keep on the good works and replicate same record in the Law School that would attract laurels and scholarships for her to further her Education.
In her response, Miss Okim appreciated the Commissioner and Management of the Ministry for the warm reception accorded her.
She said by this gesture, she was spurred to do more and therefore pledged to continue to fly the flag of Akwa Ibom State by working very hard to earn another first class in the Nation’s law school.
The event was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary, Lady Rose Bassey, Special Assistant to the Governor on Education Monitoring, Akparawa Udeme Udofia and Directors of the Ministry.
