EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY: ABAK COUNCIL CHAIRMAN ACQUIRED NEW FURNITURE FOR COUNCIL OFFICIALS
In a bid to providing a conducive atmosphere for council staffers for the smooth running of administration and ensuring quality service delivery, The Executive Chairman of Abak Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. (Pst.) Ekerette Inyang has acquired new office furniture for Council staff and supervisors.
Inspecting the new furniture on arrival recently, the Council Chairman expressed delight and satisfaction on the quality of the furniture, noting that workers efficiency and productivity could only be sustained in an environment where better working condition is provided for the people.
Recall that Rt. Hon. (Pst.) Inyang upon assumption of office on December was being conducted round the council secretariat by the Local Government Head of Service to undertake an on-the-spot assessment of available council facilities and the condition of offices, where he frowned at the deplorable state of the council facilities and immediately ordered for urgent repairs and total overhauling of the structures in his quest to giving a facelift.
Pst. Inyang who has fulfilled his promises by giving the council secretariat a facelift and
refurbishing dilapidated facilities including offices and other moribund structures in the council secretariat and providing a conducive atmosphere for government activities to thrive, has reiterated that his administration will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that everyone working in the council secretariat discharge their duties effectively while the people of Abak fully enjoy the dividends of government.
