ANOTHER BAD DAY FOR APC IN AKS
A cross section of members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oruk Anam Ward 4, the political Ward of an APC Chieftain and member representing Ukanafun/ Oruk Anam federal Constituency- Rt Hon Emmanuel Ukoette, denounced their membership with the APC and vowed to mobilise support for the reelection of Governor Udom Emmanuel and the PDP.
The massive defection took place on October 26, 2018, at Government Primary School, Obio Ndot, during a thank you visit of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly leader and member representing Oruk Anam State constituency – Rt Hon (Sir) Udo Kierian Akpan to the area.
Receiving the defectors, the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Cletus Eshiet and the chapter Chairman of the Oruk Anam PDP, Pastor Jacob King, appreciated them for their courage and decision to return to their original political family.
The defectors were also promised a wonderful stay in the umbrella family.
The event was attended by past and present Political office holders, Government Appointees, Elders, Women and Students.
