NIGERIA NEEDS COLLECTIVE PUSH TO HEAL – Akwa Ibom PDP Spokesperson

The Akwa Ibom State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Borono Bassey, says that the quest to take Nigeria out from the grip of bad leadership, needs a collective contribution from various quarters of the country.

Bassey who spoke on Redemption FM’s programme, Democratic Trail, Wednesday evening, opined that only collective efforts can get the country to a new level of consciencious leadership with blueprint to develop ailing sectors of the country’s economy.

Citing the theme of the 2021 national convention of PDP, which is ‘Come Let’s Build our Country Together’, he noted that PDP is interested in taking Nigeria out of the present menace facing it and calls on the generality of the people to join in changing the state of the country for good.

The image maker while advising Nigerians to be actively involved in issues that concerns them, recalled that the country was on the path of steady progression with PDP led administrations for 16 years, until the progress was thwarted by a party whose administration caused hardship to the citizens.

“Nigerians should ask, where did PDP led government leave the price of petroleum products? Today, the inflation has risen so high and people are suffering. The difference between PDP and the other party is clear”, he said.

He also restated the commitment of PDP led government in Akwa Ibom State to remain focus in delivering democratic dividends and fulfilling promises as it is known for.
