MPM INAUGURATION OF YOUTH WING IN INI
…as Coordinator charges youths on continuous support for Governor Udom Emmanuel

The youth wing of Maintain Peace Movement (MPM), a peace advocacy machinery of Governor Udom Emmanuel, has been Inaugurated by the Ini LGA steering committee of the Movement.

At a brief inauguration ceremony which took place at the council headquarters, Odoro Ikpe on Monday, 15/11/22, the Coordinator of MPM in Ini and Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Glory Edet noted that the exercise was in line with the mandate of MPM.

She charged the newly inaugurated executives to take the “message of peace” to the innermost hinterlands of the area and remain unwavering in their support for Governor Udom Emmanuel up until 2023 and beyond.

Also speaking, the chapter secretary of MPM and member representing Ini state constituency in the AKHA, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ekpenyong while congratulating the newly inaugurated Executives, charged them to remain good ambassadors of the youths while carrying out their duties.

In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman of MPM, Ini Youth Wing and Coordinator, Youth Caucus, Ini Chapter, Comrade Iboro Nnah appreciated the leadership of the Ini steering committee for the confidence reposed in him and his colleagues and promised to discharge the duties accrued to his office effectively.

Goodwill messages were received from Ini Chapter Chairman of PDP, Hon. Emmanuel Uma, Former Council Chairmen, Hon. Etetim Anwatim and Hon. Emmanuel Ebe, Mr. Lawrence Udoide, SA to the Governor and others.

The inauguration had the Youth Caucus Chairman, Ini Chapter, Comr. Iboro Nnah as Chairman, Dr. Pius Effiong, Chairman, Youth Council, Ini Chapter as Secretary. Other members include , Ifiok Udo- Youth Council, Sunday Nnanna- Dakkada Youths, Akaninyene Akpan- village youths, Iniobong Udofia- youth caucus, Pastor Bright Benson, Jane Michael and Nsisong James- Christian Youths, Victoria Usoro and Nse Ukpe-Female Youths, Uko James- students president, Paul Iseh- PDP youth leader. Other members are the following MPM Ward Youth leaders: Aniefiok Ndem, Ukeme Mark, Johnson Nsidibe, Godswill Aniefiok, Idorenyin Ekpo, Samuel Alexander, Nsikan Ikot, Ndiana Okonna, Victor Okon, Moses Emmanuel and Abraham John.
