OUR LEADER AND FATHER, A QUINTESSENTIAL OCTAGENARIAN OBONG ARC VICTOR ATTAH TURNS 83

As a young man of only 20 in 1998 I was privileged to be part of the pioneer members of the People’s Democratic Party and just few months later you were handed the party flag to run as Governor of our dear state Akwa Ibom.

In 8 years, you crafted a new vision for our State and drew the roadmap to a greater Akwa Ibom. We remain indebted to you for the selfless service that you offered our state.

Brick on Bricks you built and enduring foundation for our state that successive leaders have leaveraged on. We are grateful that when our state needed direction you stood up to be counted.

How can we ever forget your fight for resource control to better the economic life of our state, an action that cost you dearly. Today we are beneficiaries of that struggle.

As you mark 83 years on earth, my earnest heart desire is that the Lord prevent shame from coming your way and give you good health.

By the AMAZING GRACE of God, I am confident that God will strengthen and keep you so as to play that Elder Statesman’s role in the FUTURE as we work towards achieving a new GOAL for our dear State
