ITU LEADERS FORUM CONGRATULATES MR AKAN OKON ON DILIGENCE

The leadership of Itu Leaders Forum congratulates their son, Mr. Akan Okon, Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport for his sterling performance in the discharge of his duties as a member of the State Executive Council.

This recognition by the Forum is well deserved in view of the strategic roles he has so far played in helping to transform, in his assigned duties, His Excellency, Governor UDOM Emmanuel’s vision into tangible realities. Forum notes that Mr Okon has never been found wanting in any assigned responsibility, starting from the Ministry of Economic Development up to that of Finance, Housing and Special Duties as well as Aviation and Ibom Deep Seaport.

The Forum hereby expresses joy over his performance and urges him to see this recognition as a call from his kinsmen to redouble efforts in the discharge of his responsibilities in a manner that will certainly rub off on the successful anchorage of the Completion Agenda of His Excellency, the Governor.

The Forum also expresses thanks to Governor Udom Emmanuel and celebrates his giant strides in human capital and infrastructural development in critical sectors of the State economy, particularly the aviation and maritime sectors.
