EKET SENATORIAL DISTRICT SHOCKS GIPA CAUCUS WITH MASS MOBILISATION

…declares unflinching support for the Governor’s succession plans

Members of Greater Ibom Political Alliance, Eket Senatorial District have declared unalloyed and unflinching support for the succession plan of His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel

The assertion was made on Thursday, 10th February, 2021 while receiving members of the State Executives in an Enlarged Meeting of the Senatorial District, held at travel Man Hotel, Eket LG.

Briefing the State Caucus, the Senatorial Coordinator, Hon. Mary Ita Effiong expressed readiness of members in the district, stating that GIPA remain sacrosanct, commited and unshakable

While presenting members of her Excos and LG Coordinators, Hon. Mary opined that, no stone is left unturned in extended GIPA to the least of unit in the district

The International President of the formidable socio-political organisation, Mr. Titus Inyang who witnessed shock over the massive turnout, expressed satisfaction on the show of solidarity

Analysing the Modus-operandi of the organisation, Mr. Inyang spoke extensively on what GIPA stand to represent, urging the people of Eket Senatorial District to remain focus and committed in tendering unflinching support to the completion agenda of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, as well as His succession plans

The general secretary, Apst. Kokoette Jimmy who gave a flashback on the origination of the organisation, asked that the spirit be refreshed as it was at the Divine Mandate Campaign Organization. He therefore appreciated the level of commitment and maturity displayed by members of the organisation in the area, stating that the organisation remain topnotch in the lips of people and polity of the day

Speaking on the formidability of the organisation, the State Youth Leader, Hon. Nsidibe Asuquo hinted members on the groups’ position in the campaign trail, stating that the organisation remains upteeth according to the concept of “political inclusivism” (Inclusiveness). He acknowledged various contribution of members of the district, urging them to remain committed in saving the organisational legacies.

Others who spoke extensively includes, State Patron I – Elder Dr. Isong Ukpong (JP), State Treasurer – Mrs. Roseline Andrew, State Women Leader – Obongawan Mma Udo, Director of Religious Affairs – Apst. Peter, amongst others.

High point of the meeting was the presentation of Eket Senatorial District Excos and LG Coordinators for formal endorsement in preparation of her inauguration.
