INI EMEMOBONG SALUTES FORMER COMMISSIONER, DCNS CHRISTY OBOT AT 71

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comr Ini Ememobong has congratulated former Commissioner for Information, Dcns Christy Obot on her 71st birthday anniversary.

Comr Ememobong who led the management and staff of the Ministry to the countryhome of the former Commissioner in Abak, Thursday, described Dcns Christy Obot as an asset to the Information sector and the state in general.

The state Spokesman recalled with nostalgia Dcns Obot’s tenure and her contributions to the development of the state, adding that her legacies in the Ministry of Information will continue to stand the test of time.

While receiving the entourage, the celebrator, Dns Christy Obot expressed appreciation to Comr Ememobong for always finding time to identify with his predecessors, especially on thier special occasions, reiterating that, the gesture was laudable and exemplary.

She said, ” It gladdens my heart that the Ministry of Information under your watch remains committed to celebrating those of us who once served in that Ministry. Again, what you have established in that Ministry will continue to bring you and the Ministry God’s blessings even after your tenure “.

” I never expected you to be here again this year because I thought that what I experienced last year was a one- off event, but here you are this year to celebrate me. I want to thank you for the visit “. She added.

The visit featured prayer session and presentation of gifts to the former Commissioner to mark her 71st birthday.
