UMO ENO’S GOODY BAG: GOV. EMMANUEL SAYS MKPÓ AMAA CHANGE INITIATIVE HAS SET A STANDARD FOR OTHER GROUPS

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has commended Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative for its continued social and political reorientation drive in the state.

At the official Unveiling of Mkpó Amaa Change Family House and Umo Eno’s Goody Bag on Wednesday at Plot 8, SG Line, Ewet Housing, Uyo, the state Chief Executive said through its programmes, the Initiative has set a standard for other groups.

Represented by the Special Adviser, Bureau of Political and Social Reorientation, Elder Amanam Nkanga, the Governor said; “I commend the Initiator of Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative, Mr. Ekpeno Gold, for his passion in engendering a new culture among our people. He has done well and today, Mkpó Amaa Change has set a standard for other groups. Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative has become a must-watch with deep emotional connectivity.

He further appreciated the leadership and members of the group for assiduously to ensure the success of the PDP Governorship Candidate, Pastor Umo Eno at next year’s election.

“Ekpeno Gold is a good man in whom I’m well pleased. I’m very happy with you and members of the group. We’re gathered here to join him in his laudable mobilisation drive aimed at ensuring a landslide victory for our PDP Flag Bearer, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno”, he said.

On his Part, the PDP Flag Bearer, Pastor Umo Eno, expressed appreciation to the group for its support for his gubernatorial aspiration.

Represented by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin, Pastor Eno while describing the Umo Eno’s Goody Bag as a creative social programme, vowed that when elected Governor, he will boost peace, human capital and infrastructural development in the state.

Similarly, the Chairman on the Occasion and Managing Director of Nsik Motors Limited, Elder Nsikan Johnny, who congratulated Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative on the opening of its Family House, lauded the group for continually rolling out programmes that will benefit humanity.

On his part, the National President of the group and Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Reorientation, Mr. Ekpeno Gold, reachoed the group’s support for the Completion Agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel and gubernatorial bid of Pastor Umo Eno.

He acknowledged the support and acceptance enjoyed by Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative and pledged that the group will continue to remain creative, focused and welcoming.

State Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Uwakmfon Dan who explained the concept of Umo Eno’s Goody Bag, said it was a special social gift packaged by Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative for Akwa Ibom people.

He named programmes under the Umo Eno’s Goody Bag to include Umo Eno’s Mentorship Hub, Free Fuel, Community Welfare, Medicare, Free Skill Acquisition and Grow with Umo Eno.

The event which featured the official Unveiling of the Goody Bag and Family House, was also graced by the Member representing Uyo State Constituency, Hon. Anietie Eka, Permanent Secretary of Government House, Dr. Nathaniel Adiakpan, Aides to the Governor, as well as youth and women groups.
