SAMPSON IDIONG CONDOLES ORUK ANAM FORMER VICE CHAIRMAN OVER MOTHER’S DEMISE

The PDP candidate for Oruk Anam State Constituency, Prince Sampson Idiong, yesterday, commiserated with a former vice Chairman of Oruk Anam, Rt Hon. Edwin Udofa and family, over the demise of their mother, late Deaconess Nko George Udofa, aged 65.

Accompanied by the Chairman, Oruk Anam LGA, Rt. Hon. Dr Kingsley Frank, Idiong in his condolence message to the family described death as an inevitable end even as he admonished the family to take solace in the legacies of their departed matriarch.

Hear him; “Death is an inevitable end: a path we are all bound to trade someday and somehow as Christ tarries. To some, it comes after a happy old
age and to some like our dear mother, it leaves unbearable pains.”

“Your mother was a devoted Christian, community builder and a dedicated health practitioner, hence there is no doubt that she will be greatly missed.”

“However, death has come to her in fulfilment of God’s time as a transition to eternal glory. But be consoled by her legacies of impactful and exemplary life, hard work and moral integrity which were some of her core values.” He added.

Meanwhile, the remains of the departed Heroine were laid to rest in Ikot Obono, Oruk Anam LGA, after a funeral service conducted by the Apostolic church with prominent dignitaries in attendance.
