Your Life Symbolizes Humility and Content, Ekong Sampson Salutes Umo Eno on Birthday

Senator-elect for Akwa Ibom South, Dr Ekong Sampson has saluted Akwa Ibom Governor-elect, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno on the occasion of his 59th birthday. In a birthday message of felicitation, Dr. Sampson hailed the celebrant as a man whose life symbolized humility and content.

In the statement personally signed by the Onomkpoinam Mkpat Enin himself, Sampson paid tribute to Umo Eno’s excellent personality, entrepreneurial savvy and a well attested peaceful disposition. He noted that those qualities will prove invaluable as the renowned hotelier takes the reins of the State come May 29. The message read in parts:

‘On behalf of my wife, family and indeed, the entire good people of Akwa Ibom South, I felicitate and rejoice with you on the occasion of your 59th birthday’.

‘Your Excellency-in-waiting, yours has been a life of humility and content. It is fitting that at 59, enriched with great qualities, you will be taking up the saddle to lead our dear State to greater heights. As a proven entrepreneur and a man of peace, you will give to Akwa Ibom State strong economy and security’.

Dr. Ekong Sampson assured the incoming Governor of the readiness of the State’s National Assembly contingents to work with him for a greater Akwa Ibom State:

‘You have assurances that from the National Assembly, myself and our other representatives will work with you to give Akwa Ibom, the needed leverage that will earn the State respect of Nigeria and the larger community’.

Barr. Sampson prayed for continuous soundness of health in mind and body for Pastor Eno and wished him resounding 2023 birthday celebrations.
