WINNERS EMERGE FOR YAK IKÕM UDOM ESSAY COMPETITION
Out of the 223 entries received from participants, six winners have emerged for the yak Ikòm Udom essay competition designed to celebrate Governor Emmanuel’s 8 years of superlative performance.
The keenly contested competition had Confidence Emmanuel Ekanem, Confidence Eneotu Isaiah and Nsimene Adam emerging 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively for the Secondary School category while Francis Daniel Okon, Edikan Nkereuwem Bassey and Ekemiofon Sunday Etukudoh emerged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively, for the Tertiary Institution category.
According to the organisers, prizes for the essay competition titled “Good governance: an evaluation of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s legacies” and “Counting the blessing: an appraisal of the gains of Udom Emmanuel’s administration in Akwa Ibom State” for the Secondary School and Tertiary Institutions, respectively, will be presented on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Ibom hall by 5PM, during the Yak Ikòm Udom dinner and Tributes Night.
