Ekong Sampson Commiserates with Family of Late Victor ‘Gaddafi’ Amba

Senator-elect for Akwa Ibom South, Dr Ekong Sampson earlier today paid condolence visit to the family of Late Hon. Victor Anwana Amba, who was popularly known as ‘Gaddafi’, at their Uyo residence. The late Hon. Amba was a former Councillor and later Secretary of Council, Urue Offong Oruko Local Government Area and a strong supporter of the Senator-elect.

Addressing wife of the deceased, Mrs Immaculata Victor Amba, Dr. Sampson paid tribute to the departed, describing him as ‘his friend and core supporter who will be sorely missed’. He said that whatever he would have done for Gaddafi, he will do it for the family he left behind.

The Former State Environment and Petroleum Resources Commissioner assured that he will continue to stand by the family and prayed them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Wife of the deceased, Mrs Immaculata Amba in her response, said that the family was very appreciative of Dr. Ekong Sampson’s visit.

The Senator-elect was accompanied on the visit by Hon. Hogan Etta, former Chairman, Oron Local Government Area, Hon.(Chief) Efeffiong Antigha, former Member, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Anietie Sunday – PDP Chapter Chairman, Mkpat Enin, Hon. Nkereuwem James – Spokesperson of the Ekong Sampson Campaign Organization, Hon. Philomena Jonathan, Councillor in Urue Offong/ Oruko Legislative Council, Mrs Arit Ambit, a woman leader in Urue Offong/ Oruko, among others.
