Governor Umo Eno says he is ready to work with former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio as he is sworn in today as Senate President of the 10th Assembly.

Governor Eno stated this in a congratulatory
message to Senator Godswill Akpabio signed his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ekerete Udoh,

He described the process that saw to the election of Senator Akpabio as “free, fair and transparent and a testament to the deepening of our democratic traditions and ethos.”

The Governor said “politics is over and it’s time for governance, and that, demands we work across party lines to advance the cause of our development.
