SENATOR EKONG SAMPSON MAKES CASE FOR LEGISLATIVE ACUMEN

Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District has expressed satisfaction over the inauguration of Dr. Ekong Sampson into the 10th National Assembly.
This was witnessed as crowd of indigenes, supporters and well wishers from Akwa Ibom South trooped into Bolton White Events Centre, Abuja, to celebrate Sampson.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at the reception ground, Dr. Ekong Sampson vowed to deliver on his campaign promises in appreciation to the mandate done him by his people.
Senator Sampson who represents the largest Senatorial District (Akwa Ibom South) in Akwa Ibom State has promised three (3) Constituency Offices in strategic locations within Twelve (12) LGAs, which will help him relate directly with his people and conjugate feedback on his legislative affairs.

As a preacher of due process, Senator Sampson promised to channel his vast experience in politics, law, hospitality and other sectors to the welfare of the oil rich district.
Senator Sampson who has set a Public Policy Analysis Committee, says he will work hand in hand with present and past legislators for the welfare of Akwa Ibom people, while the committee acts as feedback in order not to leave any gap in his legislation.

In their goodwill messages, Her Excellency, Senator Akon Eyakeyi, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, Obong Nsima Ekere, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, Frank Okon, Sir Obot Etuk Afia, Rt Hon. Esio Oquong Udoh, Chief Don. Etiebet, expressed confidence over Senator Ekong Sampson’s inauguration to represent Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, describing him as a committed fellow who’s focused. They further tasked Senator Sampson on the need to engage in broad-based politics and be seen as a nationalist.

They admonished that Ekong Sampson shouldn’t subject himself to the ways of Abuja politicians as politics is local, urging him to return to his people at all time.
The reception was well attended by who is who in Eket Senatorial District, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and across board.

Earlier in the day, Ekong Sampson was sworn into the 10th National Assembly, Red Chambers to represent his people. The event who took place at the National Assembly complex, Abuja, was well attended and admired by international communities.
