AKWA IBOM HOUSE OF REPS CAUCUS CONDOLES OBONG PAUL EKPO OVER WIFE’S DEATH

The 10th Akwa Ibom House of Representatives Caucus has extended its heartfelt commiserations to one of its members, Obong Paul Ekpo, representing Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, over the death and funeral of his wife, Deaconess Vivian.
This is contained in a Letter of Condolence, signed by the Leader of the Caucus, Rep Unyime Idem, representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, and the secretary, Rep Ime Bassey Okon, representing, Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency and made available to Obong Ekpo.

The caucus’ statement reads in part “at a time like this, it is difficult to find suitable words to describe the deep feeling of sorrow and sadness which you are understandably suffering from. The loss of a beloved wife who had stood solidly by you in your sojourn in life, including your political exploits could be very traumatic and devastating.”

“As your colleagues, we share in your grief and urge you to take solace in the hope of eternal life through the special grace of God.”
Members of the caucus include the deputy leader, Rep Emmanuel Ukpongette, representing Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, Rep Clement Jimbo, representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency, Rep Patrick Umoh, representing Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim/Obot Akara Federal Constituency and Rep Okpolupm Etteh, member representing Eket/Onna/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency.
