INCREASE IN PILGRIMS WILL TANTAMOUNT TO INCREASE IN REVENUE – ABDULRASHEED.

…says the Arise Agenda of Aks Governor, Pastor Umo Eno is best ever.

The Chairman, Muslim Ambassadors for the Peace Initiative,
Akwa Ibom State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board. Alh. (Chief) Abdulrasheed Anthony Asukwo, has made case on the need to increase the number of pilgrims for a boost of revenue through the transport sector.

He made the resolve in an interview with Arise TV during Ibom Dialogue/launching of the Arise Agenda at Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort.

According to him, the role of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in the Arise Agenda is enormous in steering up the economy of the state. While appreciation the philosophy of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno through the Arise Agenda.

The MAPI Chairman, pleaded that the state government considers increment in the number of pilgrims for the actualisation of needed goals.

“Assuming Hajj is at the rate of N1.8 Million where extra N70,000 will be added as logistics, it’ll result to steering the economy, increasing the state’s revenue and more” Alh. Concluded.

Alh. Chief Abdulrasheed tasked citizens to embrace the Arise Agenda as it’s citizen’s centered, covering all areas in the state and fulfilling the purpose of democracy.
