SENATOR EKONG SAMPSON PRESENTS CAR TO CONSTITUENT

…appreciates Governor Umo Eno, former Governor Udom Emmanuel, ors on outstanding legacies

In what appeared as a most surprising scenario on Boxing Day, Senator representing Akwa Ibom South in the National Assembly, Senator Ekong Sampson earlier today, presented a brand new car to one of his constituents and supporter, Comrade Asuquo Bassey (Don Mike).

Don Mike served as one of the Youth Coordinators in the Senator Ekong Sampson Campaign Organization. He currently serves as Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom South Senator on Youth Affairs. He hails from Akanyo Village in Okobo Local Government Area.

Presenting the car, Senator Ekong Sampson commended Don Mike’s antecedents in handling the affairs of the youths, stating that the car gift is a tip of his appreciation awaiting what’s coming ahead, for his supporters.

Senator Sampson reassured that the people of Eket Senatorial District will feel the impact of his representation maximally. The Onomkpoinam Mkpat Enin said:

”I needed to start from Oro Nation and not my community as there’s need to grow Oro people from limitation to prioritization and even more, we are planning a mega empowerment which will reach everyone in both rural and urban areas of Akwa Ibom South. We can only achieve much with your commitment and support”, he added.

Senator Sampson used the occasion to appreciate Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who recently presented cars to his Personal aides, adding that the Governor has been exemplary in the administration of the State so far.

In his response, a visibly elated Comrade Asuquo Bassey said it’s a dream come through as he bears no regret supporting Senator Sampson, whom he noted has yet again rewarded loyalty. Comr Bassey reaffirmed his commitment to Senator Sampson’s affairs at all times.

Okobo Local Government Chairman, Hon. George Henshaw, who spoke elaborately on behalf of the delegation, proclaimed that Senator Sampson remain God’s gift on the people of Eket Senatorial District, having sacrificed much within few months in office to the unity of the people.

Earlier, Senator Ekong Sampson had charged constituents on preparedness of his Mega Empowerment which was by the corner, saying it’s geared towards elevating constituents to a better heights.
