Atang, a Worthy Ambassador of Akwa Ibom South, says Senator Ekong Sampson in Congratulatory Message
The Senator representing Akwa Ibom South in the National Assembly, Senator Ekong Sampson hailed the newly appointed Head of Service of Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Samuel Atang as a worthy ambassador of Akwa Ibom South.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had on Tuesday, in a raft of appointments, announced the elevation of Dr. Atang – the most senior Director in the FCT administration, as the Capital Territory’s pioneer Head of Service. The new Civil Service Chief hails from Eket Local Government Area, in Akwa Ibom South.
In a message of congratulation to the new Head of Service, Senator Ekong Sampson hailed Dr. Atang as ‘a seasoned technocrat, who is well abreast with the administration of the FCT and the workings of Akwa Ibom South’.
Senator Sampson expressed his trust that the new Head of Service will use his wealth of experience to better the administration of the FCT, while collaborating with Akwa Ibom South, especially in the area of human capital development.
The Akwa Ibom South Senator noted that the appointment of Dr. Atang was ‘ample proof that Akwa Ibom South has a rich collection of tested professionals and achievers, who can acquit themselves creditably in nation building’. He wished the new appointee, successful tenure in office.
