Easter, Season of Love – says Senator Ekong Sampson in Message to Constituents, Nigerians
Senator Ekong Sampson, representing Akwa Ibom South in the National Assembly, has described Easter as a season of love and sacrifice, calling on Nigerians to reflect on these essence, as Christendom marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Senator Sampson stated this in his Easter message to his Akwa Ibom South constituents and Nigerians at large. Sampson’s message highlighted on the importance of calling to mind, the sense of love and sacrifice which Easter embodies. His message read in parts:
‘As we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us call to mind; and reflect on the essence of love, sacrifice and hope in this season of Easter. May this paschal celebration renew our faith in God and embolden our love for humanity’.
0The Onomkpoinam Mkpat Enin enjoined all Christians to use the Eastertide as a season of soul-searching and embrace acts of love for one another. He wished all indigenes of Akwa Ibom South, and indeed, all Nigerians, a rewarding Easter celebration.
