YOU’RE THE ARCHITECT OF YOUR FUTURE, REP. IDEM CHARGES NYSC MEMBERS

The Member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, and Chairman, Committee on Public Procurement, Rep. Unyime Idem, has charged members of the National Youth Service Corps to explore creative ways of solving societal problems to be relevant.
Rep. Idem stated this when he received NYSC members, who served in the Public Procurement Committee of the House of Representatives.
He said “you must understand that your destiny is in your hands, and that to be relevant in the society, you must be a problem solver. Also, hardwork pays, no shortcuts ever bring sustainable wealth and success.”

“Acquire skills, master your skills. Start small. Don’t start building from the top, but from the scratch, then grow, learn from your mistakes and gain experience.”
Rep. Unyime Idem used the opportunity to tell the corps members his life story, how he started from nothing, and charged them to keep their hopes alive, while pursuing their dreams.

The corps members, who will be passing out in the coming days, presented the Ukanafun/Oruk Anam federal lawmaker with a portrait, and thanked him for his leadership and benevolence to them, during their service year.
