The Executive Chairman, Ukanafun LGA; Hon. Pastor Godwin Inyieng, today brings smiles and excitement to the good people of his local government when he announced the readiness of his administration to commence the 2nd phase of rural-urban roads grading and maintenance.
The Journalist turned Politician, made this known today in Qua Iboe Church, Okoyo, during the Church Thanksgiving and Fund-raising Services held today by the Church.
“My Administration will cease this dry season opportunity to commence the 2nd phase of our infrastructure development especially, in the area of rural-urban roads maintenance and grading, and I promise to make Okoyo, the starting point on this phase”.
You will recall, on his assumption of office, this time last year, he quickly embarked in rural-urban roads maintenance and grading to create and improve accessibility towards economic recovery of the hitherto crisis-ridden local government.
Pastor Inyieng, an ordained clergy himself, made an handsome donation towards the fundraising ceremony along with other attendees of the occasion for the ongoing church auditorium project in Okoyo.
The Chairman equally adviced the youths to shun every form of cultism, violence and other social vices as his administration will not entertain deviant behaviours.
