A’IBOM SPEAKER MOURNS EXIT OF MMA NKANTA AT 66

Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Senator-Elect for the Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, Rt Hon Aniekan Bassey , has sympathized with the Member representing Ukanafun State Constituency, Dr Charity Ido, over the demise of her mother, late Mrs. Love Dick Nkanta.

The Speaker described the deceased, who died at the age of 66, as a devout christian, a role model par excellence, a peace advocate and a community leader.

He stated this on Friday during a condolence visit to Dr Ido at her country home, Ikot Ibekwe in Ukanafun Local Government Area.

While charging Dr Ido and members of her family to be consoled by the indelible memories and positive legacies of Mma Nkanta, the Senator-Elect for the Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District said the deceased was a treasure to the family, church and the society at large. She will be missed.
